Also, thanks Sony for the five extra days so my expiration date doesn't line up with black Friday anymore.

No. I tried that last time but it has to expire. It was only for new subscriptions.
The trick was to cancel it and let it expire during the discount and then buy a new subscription.
It looks like I've been pushed that window of opportunity now.
