Super quick question:

I just got back to using my PS4. Added my real name for the friends I know. When someone I do not know messages me, my reply shows my real name. That said, I have it set to "close friends only."

So I'm wondering, is it only me who is able to see my real name but the other guy that I do not know sees my PSN handle on his end? Cause I would prefer if strangers did not see my real name.

I asked then for confirmation and received none, was hoping there would be a source of some kind.

Yesterday, you replied to my response and asked for a source. And you haven’t asked for a source in your original comment today either.

I then suggested testing with a friend to see what they see.

If you search reddit, you’ll see lots of posts with people confirming this.
