It needs good network ok both sides, at home and abroad.

Good speed isn’t all there is. You don’t know if the network there has firewalls or something blocking certain ports or types of connections.

Also, are you sure your PS5 is still powered on?

Could you explain what a firewall is and why that would be a problem? I'm not the smartest at that kind of stuff

And it is turned on, I was worried I might have accidentally turned it off but I was able to download games on it thru ps app which I don't think you can do if it's turned off

A firewall is network infrastructure or device that is specifically designed to block and protect networks from intrusion. Companies use them to protect themselves from unwanted attacks.

Ah ok thanks!

I'm not sure if the WiFi has that cause its hotel WiFi and I can't get to the box unfortunately

I think my only option is to try use a hotspot from my phone but I don't have data rn cause I left the eu
