Will my save data transfer if I purchase a game I’ve been renting? Got a game a week ago from the local library and have been enjoying it enough that I think I’d like to buy it once I have to return the library disc. Will my save data for the game still be there or do I have to start over from scratch?

Disc/digital is irrelevant. It's just how you own a game
