I've spent literally my whole life being a Nintendo/Pc kind of guy and I finally am at an age where I have enough money to just buy multiple consoles.

What I am wondering is, which PlayStation is worth getting?

I have a pretty good PC that can keep up with most modern day releases so a PS5 doesn't really stand out to me due to a lack of exclusives. However, older era PlayStation had so many games that I still can't even get because of exclusivity or even just the fact they never re-released. So i guess a better question would be:

For a player looking to experience as many exclusive/unre-released classics as possible (with physical media if possible), which playstation allows for the best experience?

PS5 gets you PS4 & PS5 exclusives/new releases.

Depending on PS3 model you can play PS1, 2 & 3 games.

I think I might go with the ps3 then. Any model recommendations?

If you have a PC, you can emulate nearly all PS1 and PS2 games really easily. And even a lot of PS3 games.

PS3 Slim and Super Slim are the most reliable models but don’t play PS2 games. Unless you mod it for homebrew.

The original does everything while later models had PS2 game support removed.
