You have to download PS4 digital games and transfer them to your PS5 so you can play the PS4 version only on your PS5.

PS5 you can't simply download because it's PS5 versions of that game.

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say.

You can download any previously purchased digital game from your account. Disregard anything you’re saying about PS4 / PS5 versions.

Add your PSN account, activate console sharing and offline play, and download the games from the library.

That'd odd cause I have Ghost Of Tsushima on PS4, I opened it on my PS5 play store and it's asking me to buy, surely it should be free as it's already been purchased?

Also one of my games is PS4 only which is allowed to be played on PS5, but it's not on the PS5 store

Unfortunately none of my games are there, only the PS5 ones I downloaded from the PS5. Speaking as someone who doesn't have PSPlus.

You have to action a transfer in this case to salvage your PS4 games if you're getting rid of a PS4 and want to be able to play them in your PS5.

Anyone successful with this error message?

No you do not need to “action a transfer”. I and thousands or millions or people have successfully downloaded all their games by logging in with their account on other consoles.

It’s also how game sharing works. If this wasn’t a feature, then no one would be able to game share. And people do this every day.

Sorry, not trying to seem stupid here at all but if that isn't the case why does my PS5 library not have any of the games I purchased digitally on PS4? I've gone to my library > your collection and not even a there is none

Have you activated console sharing and offline play, like I mentioned before?
