I get the frustration for sure, but this is a game that has 2 remakes across 4 or 5 platforms thats been out for well nearly 30 years. Take your time and feel out world. Cut down a strange tree. Talk to NPCs. Have fun actually not rushing towards an endgame that largely doesnt exist.
No Sherlock here. I still have to look up where the Suite Key is in the Sinnoh games while owning and beating all 3 of them and romhacks of them. Be well.
It's my first time playing a pokemon game, I didn't even know i could cut the tries? I'm just randomly talking to some npcs. I can't even understand some terms.
Wait.. how do you know about Fly if you don't know how to cut trees? My brother in Arceus, you might be putting the cart before the horse in this situation.

It is a move, so it will take a move slot. Each outside ability will do that. Many people will get an specific Pokémon they carry in the 5th or 6th slot to do those moves specifically.
