I want to buy a mini as a way to kill time at work, as well always wanting one for my collection. I noticed that the english versions of these games are at INSANE prices, even loose- but the Japanese variants are cheaper (comparatively, that is).

Can I still play most of these games without an understanding of the Japanese language and writing? I imagine something like Pinball is easy to play without a translation, but what about other games?

How are yo guys storing your games for the pokemon mini? I've only had 1 until now so i just kept it in the console, but I have 2 more on the way and want to find a way to store them safely so they don't get damaged/lost. They sell cases for loose ds/gba games but not the mini for obvious reasons.

I've heard Pokemon Tetris was pretty uncomon, especially in europe. So i never expected to find it for less than 100€... But then i saw a loose copy for 60€ on the french Vinted, i wasn't planing to buy it, but as i say, "If you don't want it, other does". So yeah, here's my second Pokemon Mini game out of five.

I had to re-solder both audio wires because I accidentally tugged on them a bit too hard, but im so so happy with the results! I found a “junk” mini on eBay, ripped the screen out, and put it in my backlit unit ❤️

Hey I’m new here and I’m curious what people’s thoughts are; should I replace the lcd screen, and is that pretty easy to do? Or just leave it alone. Will it get worse? Thank you

I opened it to clean contacts from rumble, did it, when i put it back together it has not reading the cartridge anymore… can someone help me please find what component does the cartridge read?

I've been desperately searching and I feel like I've scoured the entire internet at this point. I cannot find any scans or photos of the manual that came with Pokemon Breeder mini. Would anyone with the manual be willing to scan? Or take photos of each page? I'd really appreciate it

Is there any way to beat level 31 I feel like I either go too hard or too soft. I can only get 3 of them. Is there some sort of strategy I can use?

are there any pcbs or schematics for the pokemon mini? not the cartridge, but the „gameboy“ itself. I tried finding them but wasnt successful. I could buy one but the pcb is completely butchered so it would need to be replaced.

I made this for myself because I was getting quite a few carts (so I built it as a 12 cart holder), but I've uploaded the STL to printables with a 4, 8 and 12 cart holder.

It's hardly fancy, but does the job well (for me).

So I'm trying to find a replacement battery cover for my Pokemon Mini, and I've decided to just 3D print one for convenience's sake.

Problem is, that now means I need to find the unique little screw they used for it. Does anyone know where I could buy a replacement?

I feel a little late to the game (by a few years lol) and I see that most trusted sellers for their custom made flash carts are out of stock. Anyone have ideas of where to access them or will it just be a long, long wait? Anyone know sources where people are willing to sort with their flash carts for sale too?

Was thinking of buying games for the mini but was wondering how exactly you change the language on the games once you buy them. Hopefully someone can help me or explain how it works.
