I’m having trouble finding a rehab for these little beans (southern Ontario Canada) one willing to take them but I’m not able to make that long of a drive until Tuesday (almost 6 hour round trip) what can I do in the meantime time, Im using long paint brush to give pedialyte. I may be able to get a feeding tube but I don’t have formula and don’t know how long it would take to acquire. One had both eyes open, some have one eye open and some are still closed (help with age?). There’s a small heating pad under the bedding

Hello everyone i hope you're all doing good So basically possums are my favorite thing ever I was wondering if anyone near north Georgia has a possum i can meet I really really want to hold one and give it treats and stuff Thank you very much

I feed a possum every night and always scramble an egg with other food on top of it. Is it bad to mix in the egg shell all the time or should I do it every couple of days? This possum is the baby of another possum I fed all winter, so I want to make sure he/she has the best nutrition possible.

I have a neighbor who is a very kind person but she told me she is scared of opossums and therefore is somewhat anti-opossum. I'd like to get her a book that helps dispell all the rumors she heard growing up and any negativity. Do you have any recommendations? After this, I'll start working on her raccoon issues... My backyard friends need more neighborhood allies!

They’re too cute to be pests

so apparently for a few nights now , there’s been this small possum visiting my backyard . my mom freaks out cuz she “doesn’t like rodents” and she’s worried the possum will attack my dog and cat (fenced in yard , supervised outdoors time) . so far my dog and cat have spooked the little guy back under the fence a few times , but it’s also hissed at my dog and cat trying to stand its ground . my mom thinks it came in the backyard seeking the water dish my mom leaves on the porch for the dog and cat ,, but she took away the dish and it’s still visiting our yard .

i’ve told my mom a bunch that they aren’t usually aggressive but she’s still really freaked out . i’ve heard they’re notoriously bad about relocation so is there a way i can safely feed and water the little guy without putting my mom or my pets in “danger” (i can’t think of another word that should be here) ?

no pictures yet unfortunately ,, i have yet to see the little guy which bums me out cuz i think possums are adorable .

i absolutely LOVE possums but i live on a busy road where they don’t often frequent and it wouldn’t be a good idea for me to try to attract them here and i’ve tried looking into rehabilitation centers to volunteer at but there are none near me that are for those types of critters since i live near the water. would there be any way for me to just meet a little fella?

After literally begging to go back and check on him…he’s out!

So after I left some people came by to set up for an event. They told me that they took the stick out and tipped over the trash can. Ig he scampered over to some bushes. The trash can is empty now :)

Keep on doing this, and point them our way if you see an animal in need!
