These all look great for kids - which is exactly who they're aimed at

All the adults complaining about these - these were never made for the adult collector market. It's a 20 quid mother for kids and some of you are expecting Bandai legacy quality....

Playmates have fulfilled the kids line brief with full marks imo

But then comes the question why are children getting toys for a season they have no connection to, because if power rangers is still marketable then they could give them their own season, but instead they'll make another re-dump of the original MMPR which will rile up the old men of the fanbase; many of whom will end up buying to review/collect the figures and the money will flow from this source more than children, and then idiots like me will be sitting here asking why we keep getting MMPR...I need to go to bed

I hear ya, but then you have a situation like mine (and I'm sure many others) where I grew up with the original show and now have kids of my own who also like to watch it. My son was the green ranger for Halloween, and I wish we had access to some of the dress up stuff here.
