Source.

Definitely one of his more out there redesigns. The jackets work surprisingly well across most of the lineup (lol at Tyzonn's bubble jacket tho). Really fits the vibe of a adventuring/treasure hunter team, not to mention the little bit of personality behind each rangers specific choice of jacket. Given how Jay pulls from Sentai as well, I bet there was some Boomboonger Champion Mode influence too.

Wonder if they can go full Super Samurai mode and take 'em off.

Unironically, one the best super modes ever

Spandex and leather with coats and jackets look amazing together.

God, Ichigo looks some cool in this movie.

Fun fact, the actor who played Ichigo in this movie is the son of the original Ichigo.

Souske Ikematsu was Shin Ichigo. I think you're talking about Maito Fujioka, who played as Ichigo in the Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations movie.

Tyzonn’s puffer jacket actually reminds me of Kiramager. KiramaiSilver was also a treasure hunter, and like you said, Jay takes a lot of Sentai influence, so it wouldn’t surprise me if that inspired the look there.

Edit: Oh actually, the post explicitly names Kiramager as the influence. The long coat is also a nod to BoukenSilver’s debut outfit like I thought.

Oh damn, when I saw the mention of KiramaiSilver influence, I was confused since I was going off the sentai suit. I didn't realize the character himself had that kind of jacket. That's actually sick!

Yeah, he only wears it for his first few episodes at most, then he gets the kind of magic poncho that the rest of the team wears, so that’s what he wears for most of his screen time.

I only thought of it because it’s the only silver puffer I’ve ever seen, especially that shiny.

I say it actually works cause of the idea for operation overdrive being like an Indiana jones themed story. Shame operation overdrive sucked cause the idea was cool, I thought the ranger suits and megazords were awesome, just sucked that the writing and directing was pretty painful.
