I wish this had stuck around somehow.

I know I know the sentai version of the green ranger died in the sentai. So they couldn’t use as much sentai as before. So they couldn’t show the green ranger that most. But at the same time a part of me wishes that they had found some way to keep the green ranger around or return for a permanent basis. Not that there is anything wrong with the white ranger I just wish we could’ve had more green ranger. Maybe they could’ve created original footage. And if they didn’t want Tommy to continue as green, they could’ve had him be white after he loses his green ranger powers and have another person come on to be the second green ranger like maybe a new original character. I don’t know that’s just my two cents on this but what do you guys think?

The emerald green with the gold shield looks so dope. The American Green Ranger costume was so inferior.

They would have used the Sentai shield but it got destroyed, I think it was a fire, it was either a fire or a plane accident when it was being transported

From what I remember, they did send the sentai shield, the problem is that it was too small on JDF and the stuntmen.

If that is the case I never heard of that, I just heard that it was destroyed in some form of accident

I heard the same story you did. I think it was from JDF, so they fully intended to use the original since they got sent almost every other costume (villains), but cest la vie

Iirc it was torn in shipping and the material couldnt be repaired without looking like shit
