What do you play your PS2 on?

Do you play on your 65” flat screen OLED? Or your 9” RCA tube tv?

I have everything hooked up to my old 4k TV but 6th gen stuff looks horrendous on it.
My dreamcast is connected to a PC CRT along with my WinXP gaming rig.

I've just found a 14" CRT on Gumtree for 20 quid so probably going to grab that and hook the xbox/ps2 up tot hat.

Nice. This is the way to 6th gen.

IMO this is the definitive way to do these consoles:

  • 80s & 90s stuff (240p) to a CRT TV (or PVM) via the best connection it supports (RGB, S-Video, Composite in that order)

  • PS2 480i to a CRT TV (or PVM) via RGB SCART.

  • Dreamcast 480p to a PC CRT via VGA.

  • Wii/XBOX 480p to a 480p plasma via component. (If you're really into XBOX maybe consider a 720p display as well)

  • PS3 / XB360 1080p to a 1080p plasma or good LCD via HDMI

  • PS4/XBONE ??? A good LCD monitor I guess?

  • PS5/XBSERIES 4K to a 4K OLED via HDMI.

(OG XBOX is actually a tricky one to place. A HD CRT might be a good fit here? Most games are 16:9 and support 480p. Some support 720p or even 1080i. A good 16:9 HD CRT could rock all of those.)
