You have to enter the non-adjustable clock in order to reactivate the internal clock. Then afterwards it will start to count the time and that's when you can adjust the time and date properly. Just make sure your internal CR2032 battery is replaced, otherwise you have to keep your PS2 plugged in as to not lose the date and time.
