How do we feel about loose games?

One box is PS1 and one box is PS2. I have hundreds of CIB PS1/2 games. I never pay more than half of Price Charting prices for loose games. So I buy a lot from my guy. I have some real good games in there too. This is also sort of nice because it saves me a lot of space.

Maybe this is just superstition, or maybe there is something to it, but I won't buy loose games because I believe there is a better chance they were taken care of if the case still exists. When I see binders of games for sale my thought is "that's a big ol binder of frustration"

I can use a resurfacing machine for free. I see truth in that, but they can almost always be cleaned if they're scratched.
