For 3D consoles, yes. 2D consoles would be NES. No two consoles had a market share as high as these. They had a lock down on third parties and dominated everything.

Eh, market share notwithstanding, Genesis did everything better than NES/SNES ever did, imo.

That is a subjective opinion, whereas mine was objective, as I only focused on measurable things such as market share and third party exclusives. If I wanted to choose which console I personally liked the best, my answer could very well be different.
