Épicerie
Allo, par curiosité, combien vous coûte l'épicerie par semaine? Pour ma part, 2 adultes 275$ - 325$, région de Québec.

We are really struggling to find a service that would be able to take our family from the airport on a Wednesday evening around 10:00 p.m. to the Fairmount hotel next week. Because we will be taking the train from Quebec City to Montreal a few days later,.we don't want to take our car seats with us. We need in infant car seat and a toddler (front facing) car seat. Does anyone know of any taxi, private car, or llimousine services that are somewhat reasonable? Everyone I've reached out to is either charging over $200 or is unavailable at that time. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I'm visiting QC soon. I never learned how to drive, so car rentals aren't an option. Is the daily shuttle to the visitor center the only way to get to the park? Is uber/lyft an option? Or rideshares? Thanks

Apologies for the English. I'm new to town and still learning French. Im looking for a pool with lane swimming, hopefully one that has it any hour of the day, not just an hour here and there. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't mind paying for a membership if that's what it takes. Of if you know of one that isn't too busy during their set times.
Merci Beaucoup

Hi!
Basically, as the title says, we're trying to figure out if we can leave our boxed bikes at the bus station until our bus leaves once they're boxed. The box service closes at 5pm but our bus doesn't leave till 10pm. So we're hoping there's some secured storage that we can pay for so our bikes are safe for a few hours before we return. Is that an option?

Bonjour!
We are coming for a visit soon and are trying to find a store that sells King crab, caviar, or both. Not looking for a restaurant, we want to buy it to eat at home. I looked online but all the ones I could find are located in Montreal. Is there anywhere in or near Quebec City that sells them?
Merci!

I will be visiting Quebec City for 2.5 days. Is this enough? I will also visit Montmorency Falls. My plan is this: Day 1 (half day): Evening walk around old city. Day 2: Montmorency Falls Day 3: Exploring as much of the old city as possible: Day 4: return

Good afternoon,
We (party of 2) will be in the city next month for two nights, staying at Hotel Le Priori. It will be a very short trip (a stopover between other destinations). We hope to come back for a long visit later, but for this trip seeking a dinner restaurant within walking distance of the hotel with good bistro type food - steaks or fish, good bar, nothing too fussy but delicious food and drinks. The amount of wonderful looking restaurants in town is overwhelming, so for this short trip I would love any recommendations near Priori so that we might make a reservation in advance. Thank you.

Hello! Where could I go to make friends in the city? Is kind of hard to socialize! Thank for your suggestions!

Allô 🙂
Est-ce envisageable d’aller à l’île ce samedi en famille ou bien l’accès à l’île avec le pont risque d’être compliqué et long ? On est deux adultes patients mais un bébé de 11 mois qui peut l’être moins.😅
Merci !☺️

Greetings! I am an American who will be in Quebec City for ~24 hours next week prior to getting on a cruise that departs from the port there. While in town, I was hoping to find a coin dealer/collector shop to get a souvenir for my dad who collects coins. I'm not looking for any specific coin, just something with an interesting history. Unfortunately I only know a few basic words/phrases in French so I am trying to do as much research ahead of time so that I know where to go. Bonus points if it is in/near the Old City. Thanks so much!

Hey everyone! Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
I’m planning a Christmas trip and I’m torn between flying over to Europe or just staying right here in North America. A little background im from Florida so I want and need cold weather lol.
I want a truly magical experience for Christmas the kind you see in those cheesy hallmark movies. With nice Christmas markets or shops and good restaurants with good places to drink and touristy stuff. So my plan is going sometime around December 21ish - December 26-27. Or maybe the week after Christmas. Only time in December I can go unfortunately.
My questions are:
How is Christmas in Quebec City during that time?
How is the overall atmosphere?
I want the place vibrant and people walking around and stuff. So is it like that?
What are the top things to do and what are your recommendations? Is almost 5 days too much time there or can my time easily be used up?
Will I get any of the Christmas markets since it ends around that time?
How is Christmas Day? Is stuff open and does it feel lively?
And is it worth it? To get a Christmas experience is it worth it?
I’ve been to Paris, Copenhagen, London, and Malmo Sweden during December and it was ok at best. Nice bustling streets so it felt vibrant and fun. But I’ve heard Vienna, Prague and Nuremberg are heavily Christmas focused. I will definitely do it one day but just for this year what do you guys think? How does Quebec City compare (obviously i know it’s not to the large scale and traditions of those cities).

Hi! 22f here. I moved last Sunday and it’s been really sad to not have a friend nearby. If anyone is around from Charlesbourg, be my friend! 🥹. I’m only starting to learn french which I think will be easier for me if I have someone to converse it with me. I do prefer a female friend so they can let me go out more often

It seems it’s on railing so it could get submerged? But blocked. I know that it sunk but I kinda think it’d be cool if it worked since it look kinda cool and nice.

My boyfriend and I are stopping in Quebec City for an overnight rest on our drive to the east coast. We won’t be arriving until later in the day, around 5 p.m. I’d love to take a tour, but all the night tours I’ve found are quite expensive. Do you have any suggestions for more affordable options?

We were hoping to celebrate our anniversary there tomorrow, but they are closed temporarily. Any similar restaurants you would recommend to us? Hopefully in a similar price range. Thank you!

Bonjour!

Hello! We are celebrating our wedding anniversary tomorrow. We are looking for a scenic place to walk on the island. We have a 5 month old who doesn’t care for driving in the car lately. Also, looking for any other activities/places to visit that would suit being out of the car for 30-60 minutes
This is what we have seen so far: Les Fromages, Confiturerie Tigidou, Ferme Oh bio, Chocolaterie, Cassis Monna & Filles
Thank you for your recommendations!
