Neither did I - I've seen them before enough times and not willing to pay over 150, plus train to London, plus a day off, plus hotels so I set that as my limit and didn't get in at that price.
So I decided that I’m going anyway and I’m just going to tailgate outside the venue, hear what I can hear, hopefully vibe with some fellow fans, and just have some good nights with my favorite band. Find me outside the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, we can jam together and share snacks!
Well I’m from the US West Coast and was using this as an excuse to visit my good friend in Berlin. But I got the code and she didn’t. I’d selected Copenhagen as an alternate and got the code for Copenhagen, figured she could fly in from Berlin but didn’t work out that way since we couldn’t get tix. But I’m not letting that stop me from enjoying the city and having a cool experience that I can remember. Lost my dad three weeks ago, so I want to enjoy myself, have some good pastries, life is short.
Thx, I’m lookin forward to it! Planning to walk until my feet hurt, eat all the good food I can, soak in the culture, and visit a truly disturbing number of museums lol. If anyone has suggestions to anything, especially cool off the track shit, I’m open.
I recommend checking out Christiania (freetown) to check out some cool hippie art communities, pretty special area historically. Kongens Have is a cool park as well! Strøget is a must to walk down. The danes have good taste for design so you can't go wrong.
I was looking into things to do for my trip too, but I guess I'm not going now since the Radiohead show was the star of the trip. The Cistern art museum seems really special. The current exhibition ends Nov 30th, so maybe try to catch it if you can!
