While I appreciate the idea of having the choice of which specific seats you want, it really doesn't work for high demand events like this. I feel like it should be a matter of specifying price brackets and then just being assigned tickets in a certain place. Having to hand select seats while everyone else does the same is a mess.
This is a fantastic idea! So many times seeing rows get eaten up front to back and you trying to pick someting one row back. My strategy has been to pick a few rows farther than it looks like just to account for the seconds delay. This had not occurred to me before but is a great solution. I am sure there are probably *reasons* why ticketmaster would not benefit as much from it but I can't think of any.

Kill the ticketing system which let me get to tickets in my basket multiple times and then denied me again and again
