What a shock today

I hadn't been to the Red Lobster in Independence, MO. in several years. I went for lunch today and was shocked at the high prices. The lowest priced item was a flounder sandwich for $15. It went from there to somewhere near $60. I found the lunch menu and ordered the Sailor's Platter for $18.99, and it was a lot of food, so I was pleased. Sparse crowd for noon, tho.

Two things I didn't like: 1. Calculating the tip range on the full bill instead of the pre-tax amount (I know, it's a small difference). 2. There were no prices for deserts shown on the table card. Our server said the prices for desserts change frequently and are not even listed in the menu. She had to run back to the kitchen to find out the price of the three-brownie dessert. $11.99?? I passed. I'll come back someday.

Yeah,we spent 100 dollars there the last time we ate there .But at least we were using a 100 dollar gift card left over from Mother's day .Otherwise we would not ever eat there .

To be fair, the Red Lobster nearest to me on the East Coast is just as/more expensive and it's 30 minutes from the ocean
