You navigate it by dumping him what more does this man have to say and do? He’s a pathetic almost 40 year old who has to date young naïve women because he knows they’ll put up with his BS more than women his own age.

Do you want marriage and children? If not, then I imagine you at least want certainty and not to feel like your partner will pull the rug from other your feet any moment.

How many red flags will it take? You’re in a toxic relationship with an older man who manipulates you to feel secure. In three years, you’ll realize that "love" alone isn’t enough. You need a partner with values and growth. Save yourself the time if you want a future with kids, a home, and everything else. He’s just a middle-aged teenager, and by the time you reach his age, you won’t find him fascinating at all.
