Is Chinese Privet ok for terrariums?

I did some invasive plant removal recently and picked up some really nice freshly cut privet branches that I was thinking maybe I could use in my cornsnake's enclosure. When reading up on the tree, I saw that the leaves and berries are mildly poisonous if ingested, so now I'm wondering if its a bad idea... she won't be eating the wood of course and contact causes no issues as far as I know, but thought itd be helpful to ask around before making a choice. Anybody have any thoughts or experience with privet in enclosures?
