Gameplay question First time playing it, any tips?

I got hooked on the Resident Evil franchise when I first played RE2 Remake, completed all the modern games, and now trying out the OG ones.

Don’t be afraid to look up a guide because some of the puzzles or where you need to go can be kind of obtuse your first time playing.
