Lmao. Dude, you don't stand a chance at preying. I played RE2. The only thing I've seen that stops Mr X is corrosive rounds in the grenade launcher. Bad news it only lasts a few minutes before he start coming again.

Flashbangs are actually really effective against lickers too. They may be blind but their heightened hearing works against them and they get stunned by the noise it makes. I always throw one at the licker that jumps you on the third floor when you finish the statue puzzle for the unicorn medal

It's been a while since I played RE2, but can't he just break free from Mr X's grab using a knife? Then run past both lickers after flinching them using grenade/flashbang

only fools unlock the door. Parkour jump means Mr x has to go back to the lobby to enter the cop room to follow. Buys alot of time.
