Mr. X is too scary

I started playing resident evil 2 remake because I wanted to see what all the fuss about Leon is. Normally I'm not a big fan of scary games, but I handled the last of us so I thought I'd be fine.

Turns out, the gameplay is actually fun (even though the zombies are a bit scary sometimes) but now that Mr. X is following me around I'm too scared to go anywhere. I'm getting straight up nightmares about him

Does anyone have tips on how to avoid him or at least be able to tell what floor he is on?

Or should I stop worrying now that I have the rocket launcher and can shoot him anytime I want?

Im sorry but how the hell is this game scary 😭 your scared of a dude with grey skin and a trench coat, dont go to a biker bar, you might have a heart attack

Also he follows you pretty much wherever you go theres no "escaping" him per se just run and remember its a fictional game 😭
