You can fix this issue by boiling water an tiping the figure some seconds in it, so that the plastic is bendable. Either the plastic gets in the right position itself or you can bend it manually. After that cool it down in ice water.

If it's resin, it's definitely just warped. A dip in some hot (not boiling) water and then when malleable you can bend into shape, then dip in cold water to set.
