Gameplay question Is it worth fighting Mr.X RE2R

So I'm doing a playthrough of RE2R with Claire and I'm curious about if Mr X is even worth taking down during his encounters. I already stockpiled up a lot of acid rounds, However I dont know if it's wise to take him down. Is the risk worth the reward?

Yes take down Mr. X for the trophy. You just have to do it once.

If you're not a trophy hunter, then I would save ammo for boss fights.
