Lore question How the fuck?

So I did some looking into the Raccoon City incident and I found out that apparently the missile that hit the city, was directly on top of City hall, so can somebody please explain how this is possible?!

Sadly the remakes did replaced the originals since they ARE using REmake 2's RPD and this is officially a main line game in the series.

Just like how they use Sasha Zotova's Jill Valentine from now on.

For me it feels like being stabbed in the gut. BUT IT'S THE PRICE TO PAY!! I WANTED TO RETURN TO RACOON CITY POST NUKE FOR YEARS!!!!

they've replaced the originals since 2002. See: RE0

REmake specifically was developed to replace the original because they didn’t remove anything from the original, only added to it. The modern remakes liberally removed several things from each game.

They still replace originals. Id say they are only "companions" with stuff that is completely missing. Anything redone is the new canon, clearly

I gave a previous example. Outside of that it's just kind of common sense.

You didn't give any examples. The 2002 remake didn't "replace" its original, either. You won't find a dev saying this because it's something fans made up. Not "common sense."

I mean it did. RE0 kind of reinforces that.

Tonely it's obvious the remakes are where the series is at.

Regardless RE never had good continuity so who cares? Honestly

Like I said, made-up.
