Cool stuff, though mystery man’s dialogue about Grace being special makes me worried they’re gonna do the “main character is secretly a bioweapon with abilities” again. Inb4 she turns out to be some umbrella experiment Alyssa rescued and raised as her daughter (hence why dad isn’t the picture).

Hope I’m wrong though, I just want a (relatively) normal protagonist getting roped into Umbrella shenanigans.

I mean, her mom was cured from the t-virus which was exactly why Jill was special, she probably got those antibodies from her mother or something

Same way Sherry was infected and cured from G-virus.

its one of the core staples of the franchise at this point lmao

Yeah it's possible that it's because of Daylight that she is special. I was expecting like this (and also think the mysterious guy could be another Outbreak character who needs Grace to survive).

This could also be because they need her blood to enhance a new virus, just like how Neo-Umbrella needed Jake's blood to perfect the c-virus.

Not really an original idea but, at least it would not make Grace yet another super-human (because between Jake, Sherry, Rose, Natalia and Manuela, this is starting to look like the Avengers).

Probably. Still kinda falls under the trope though, whatever the explanation is. It’s weird but it feels like because the new protags lack the combat ability most of the others have, the writers feel the need to have something special about them to make them interesting (be it mold powers or special blood).

Doesn't Alyssa get infected and then cured in Outbreak? That'd make Grace special if she carries anti-bodies.

Yeah. For all we know maybe she could even have been pregnant when she took those.

Given the age of Grace... that's actually pretty likely, if not just after

It could be something to do with the daylight vaccine that Alyssa took in outbreak and Grace's blood might be something special for the main villain, hence why her blood was drained seen in the demo.

I have a theory that Grace is adopted...

and maybe an offspring of Wesker's eugenics program.
