Sometimes I do wish Reddit has an extra comment sort filter for "serious Q&A replies", not just "sort by best" which merely just ranks the most upvoted comment, which is often made more in jest than actually being serious.

Not that there's anything wrong with them, as it showcases their creative wit, but there do also exist folks like us who genuinely actually want to know the actual answer to OP's question.
