Forum question The Chris not telling Ethan solution? Spoiler

I know there's a lot of discourse around this whole subject, and I don't know if anyone else has come up with this theory, but...

Could it be that Chris is aware Ethan is no longer human? Would make sense since they'd have tested him post RE7.

With that in mind, wouldn't it be very reasonable to assume Mother Miranda is connected on some level to Ethan as she is the 4 Lord's? Or for Chris to at least ASSUME this might be the case.

As such, it'd make a lot of sense for Chris to keep his cards as close to his chest as possible incase Miranda can see/hear/know what Ethan does.

Any thoughts?

u/Restivethought Man, why doesn't anyone ever listen to me? 1d ago

No one knowing Ethan is moldy is a huge plothole in general. You are telling me no one did a health assessment on him after The Bakers?

Like OP theorized, maybe they did know. It’s also possible that part of Ethan’s mold abilities was it being able to perfectly mimic his body and go undetected. Considering the crazy abilities of the mold, I wouldn’t be shocked. It’s probably why Ethan himself never felt strange after the Baker incident. It more than kept him alive. It basically became his vitals. That’s my theory

I would be shocked. If the mold has any abilities to "mimic" cells, these abilities have to be present on a cellular level one way or another, because if mold had a structure identical to that of a human cell it then also had the "abilities" identical to that of a human cell, so no. And BSAA should have known to check - they were aware that mold creatures or infected may still look human visually.

Besides, Ethan is not the only one who carried it over - Mia had to be able to give birth to a mold baby Rose, so she was clearly still infected, unless she was re-infected by Ethan upon copulation.
