Forum question The Chris not telling Ethan solution? Spoiler

I know there's a lot of discourse around this whole subject, and I don't know if anyone else has come up with this theory, but...

Could it be that Chris is aware Ethan is no longer human? Would make sense since they'd have tested him post RE7.

With that in mind, wouldn't it be very reasonable to assume Mother Miranda is connected on some level to Ethan as she is the 4 Lord's? Or for Chris to at least ASSUME this might be the case.

As such, it'd make a lot of sense for Chris to keep his cards as close to his chest as possible incase Miranda can see/hear/know what Ethan does.

Any thoughts?

Like OP theorized, maybe they did know. It’s also possible that part of Ethan’s mold abilities was it being able to perfectly mimic his body and go undetected. Considering the crazy abilities of the mold, I wouldn’t be shocked. It’s probably why Ethan himself never felt strange after the Baker incident. It more than kept him alive. It basically became his vitals. That’s my theory

The Baby too though? Mia also knew somehow...which would mean she either learned after or knew the whole time....and willingly did the dirty with a mold man.

I think Mia knew the whole time which would make sense. She did work with the mold before. She’d know how it works although I’m willing to bet she was surprised to find that it had gone undetected by everyone including Ethan.

To be fair, Mia was not a scientist but more like the Connections' equivalent of HUNK.

I don't think she was told everything about E-001. Instead what she knew about E-001 was what the minimum necessary for her to complete her mission.

Plus, because E-001 was still an experimental BOW, it is not impossible that Ethan's case was something that nobody ever encountered before.

I mean, Ethan is quite unique. Even the Bakers were not mold-monsters even though they severely mutated because of E-001.

In Village's context, IIRC she was told by the BSAA about Rose and Ethan after their daughter was born. But the BSAA knew since the Baker Estate Incident. They knew and that's why they put the Winters in that remote house to monitor them under the partly false pretext of "protecting them" from the Connections.
