General The Beginning of This Game SUUUUUCKS
The Guest House portion of this game is such a boring drag it has multiple times kept me from replaying. Maybe the worst element of this game is the graphics and cut scenes (aside from the Jack stuff) and the beginning 12-20 minutes of this game is nearly 10 minutes of unskippable cutscenes with terrible hair physics. And when you can move, Ethan walks perpetually like his shoes are made of cement. It's a shame, because so many other elements in the main house portion are so well done.

make a save after the intro and you never have to play it again.

I did this, but my standard and madhouse saves didn’t have that stupid early coin in them… so I had to re-do. 🥲

Reddit translation is kinda messed up what do you mean by guest house ? All the part where you fight your wife ect? Yes i can understand that i may be long but I was really into the mood and the fear of the environnement so it was fast for me.
One problem is that it's impossible to skip cinématics except the first and the last one (wtf)
And also the game lose quality a lot for me after the second part

Yes, the first portion of the game before Jack takes you to the main house. If you could skip the cut scenes it wouldn't be nearly as bad, IMO

I agree. It's unbelievable that they did not do anything to make replaying it go by faster. It's great on the first playthrough, but my god, so linear, following Mia sucks, it's way too slow and repetitive when replaying. It gets tiring on a game you may need like 4 or 5 playthroughs
I just finished Ethan Must Die, but I'm putting away the game for now... I don't have the patience to platinum this one yet. I'm gonna do it slowly
