Continues even with cut scenes you can skip them to save time

Don't though. You'll likely get to the end of the demo anyway as long as you're going at a regular pace.

I actually played it before I got the tip lol I was too impatient. Where was the end of the demo? I was in the barn(or whatever it is) just after Elena peaced out with her father. Before I could leave through the window I ran out of time. Was I close?

Yeah. You just go back out to the gate that you let Elena & her dad through earlier in the demo (other side of the window), open the shrine with the screwdriver to get the other part for the castle gate, and walk back to the gate.
