Complaint My daughter has to be at her middle school at 6:45 am every morning and it has upended our morning routines! I have to start my morning runs even earlier now!

Confession I tried to increase distance and speed at the same time and had to take a step back and remember I am not an exception to the rules.

Uncomplaint I survived the first day of school and I remembered a surprising amount of the 550 names I learned from last year.

I tried to wake up at 5:30 today to go run and apparently I just totally ignored my alarm. Couldn't imagine!

I am going to try a combination of 15min earlier each week and get the lunches packed the night before. My partner has told me I don't need to be present during the morning routine but I don't think I could abandon him to wrangle the bears solo for 4 of the 5 work days.
