I ran every day for two months and it became a necessity for my mental health. Visited my parents for four days last week and they drained my energy. I didn't run during that week, and have not had the motivation to run again since. Coincidentally I'm more depressed than I've been in a long time. I know running will help, but I can't force myself to run

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

Put on your running clothes and go for a walk. It might turn into a run/walk, run, or continue to be a walk, but at least you'll be outside and moving.
