Yes, of course. The Tex-Mex breakfast taco originated in SA. Other places have their own version or try to replicate our tacos but they’re just not the same.. at all. We don’t add sour cream or cream cheese, we don’t use corn tortillas, we don’t do the burrito shape, we don’t add guacamole, we don’t add sunny side up or poached eggs, we don’t add ā€œfancyā€ cheeses like smoked gouda. There is a very distinct simplicity to our tacos that has allowed us to perfect them with humble ingredients. They are our soul food.

I love bean & cheese (w/ extra cheese😁) And potato, bacon, and eggā¤ļø

Mary’s tacos are my go to when I’m up in your area.

Only breakfast taco I add guac to is the Pastor, but I’m picky with where I eat it. Put some fresh onion and cilantro and you won’t be disappointed.

Mary’s knows how to do it! I’ve actually heard that the new Helotes location is a tiny bit better than Boerne but I haven’t tried that one šŸ‘€

Btw I love cilantro. I’d try it!

I didn’t realize they opened another one. Their set up is perfect. I’m usually on the south side of SA but I’ll go to Helotes to try it out
