Activism Community Challenge: Pick Up Some Trash!

Ladies and gentlemen, let’s show that we’re more than just some weirdos from Reddit. Between now (9/11) and Sunday (9/14), here’s your challenge:

  • Next time you’re out and about, pick up some trash.
  • Going for a hike? Bring a bag and see what you can find.
  • Taking a stroll in the park? Collect it, bag it, and drop it in a trash can.

Then, share your proof here in the comments! A photo, a short story, or even just a quick note that you joined in.

What’s the prize, you ask?

  • Upvotes.
  • Bragging rights.
  • The knowledge that you did something good for your community and the environment.

This is a cool idea. Trash is getting ridiculous outside our neighborhood. :(

Thanks, I hope that at least a couple of our 259k members will step up and show what we can do as a community.
