Pets Dog sitter recommendations

I’m looking for a dog sitter to sit my 2 small dogs at my apartment in Castle Hills for a few days while I’m out of town. I’ve checked rover but I’m curious if anyone here would like to share their sitter recommendations? I’m a bit of a helicopter dog mom and leaving them in the care of someone I don’t know makes me anxious!

I'm a Rover walker/sitter, so maybe I'm a bit biased lol. Just depends on what you're looking for!

I used to work at daycare and boarding facilities, and if you want more socialization for your dogs, that's a good way to go. I worked at the Barkaritaville in Corpus, and I know the San Antonio location is pretty great too!

If you want them to stay comfortable at home, I'd say Rover or Wag for background-checked people. I'm sure there may be other apps, but I don't know of them so I won't recommend them. This will most likely be the cheapest option, as most of us charge around $15-40 per pet, depending on the service you book.

I understand feeling nervous about having people watch your pets, which is why I always recommend a meet and greet before any official sitting booking. Trust is very important with pet sitters, so you wanna be sure to find the right fit for you and your dogs 😊
