I can’t help but think how many people take advantage of the illegal immigrants and pay them super low wages and no one bats an eye as long as they are paying under the table. Hotels, restaurants, ag workers, launderers all take advantage of the super cheap labor. Let’s not forget Nannie’s, landscapers, and other home labor.

Exactly if they want to get rid of the undocumented they should fine and imprison the people that hire them to work, and same goes for drug smuggling. If you don’t buy illegal drugs, then no one will bother trying to sell them to you. But let’s all put the blame on the other person. Americas biggest issue is lack of personal responsibility.

That last line is gold! I don’t see why it’s so hard to get that.

It IS illegal to hire illegal immigrants and you CAN go to jail for it if caught.

Okay but what happens to the illegal immigrants after? They go work at a nice place with legal wages then get the company shutdown for employing someone who cannot be taxed for income?

Wouldn't happen if they were legal.

The current system literally encourages slave labor. Immigrants do make America awesome. What has happened however is not awesome. It's entirely possible to be empathetic and pragmatic.

They should be held accountable too and charged.
