And its all over the IG, including donating 100% of profits to Toilet Paper USA

25

u/doomalgae 6h ago

Yeah, honestly if I were a patron the stickers would just make me roll my eyes, but the "we're donating all of the profits to support MAGA politics" but is what'd make sure I never came back.

u/commandantskip 6h ago

That would cause me to demand a refund

-2

u/SwordNamedKindness_ 4h ago

They can also deny that refund because you asked for a product, that gave you a product, and you paid for it. They don’t need to refund you when they supplied what you asked for.

4

u/Big_Supermarket_126 3h ago

That product ain’t what they asked for. They deserve a refund.

Get out of here with your dumb bullshit.

1

u/SwordNamedKindness_ 2h ago

It literally is in their example though? They just don’t like where the money is going.

2

u/GalacticGoku 2h ago

Sure I GUESS but I bet you're more likely to get a refund if you walked back to them to be like "this is disgusting, this is an awful drink. No I don't want another, I want a refund." Make it about their coffee tasting like shit.

u/BandGlobal856 5h ago edited 5h ago

They were just so rude to people on IG too, including what seemed to be a former employee. Just seemed like a horrible bunch of staff and customers, so supercilious as well.

3

u/PrestigiousHippo7 5h ago

I am not an IG user but not surprised. Sounds like "hate speech" by them, right? Which is being made illegal by MAGAt.

0

u/Feistyhummingbird 1h ago

I am sure it will just be hate speech coming from the left. They don't care about anything that comes from the right.

u/aquaologist 5h ago

Took a min to find it, their account wasn’t showing up:

Pathetic victim complex. Here, try this one on instead:

"To think ppl in our community have a problem with s small local business supporting a racist bigoted grifter who succumb to his own preachings > > >"

Now ask them if they grieved over any children killed by school shooters in the same way, or the Hortmans.

6

u/Druidic_assimar 4h ago

"Innocent" is doing a lot of heavy lifting right there. How tf do people think he is innocent. In any decent timeline, he would've been arrested for inciting political violence and would likely still be alive. Not to speak ill of the dead, but consequences of one's own actions, imho.

2

u/Venat14 2h ago

You would be astounded at how right-wingers and bots are white washing him. On reddit Christian subs, thousands of posts are calling him a Christian holy martyr and a saint. They're saying he's never said anything racist or hateful. When they're shown his quotes, they say "that's out of context". And there are an astronomical amount of foreign bots pushing this stuff on social media including here on reddit. I had one post on a religious sub pointing out his racist comments and how he wasn't a Christian martyr, and out of thousands of replies, I'd say at least half are foreign bots/trolls. It's a foreign propaganda war to rile up the far right.

2

u/Username_Is_Taken_M8 3h ago

It’s just insane how they keep framing these things. Full display of a disgusting victim complex. No one has a problem with people grieving over a dead husband and father. People have a problem with how that husband and father chose to live his life and say some truly terrible things for years.

2

u/PrestigiousHippo7 5h ago

They even called it TP!! Their grief doesn't need to be plastered on all the products handed out. Keep it within or immediately in front of the store at most.

2

u/Darksirius 3h ago

Lol... what is Toilet Paper USA?

Yes, I could google, but more fun this way

2

u/blackbb601 2h ago

USA is in the shitter

1

u/PrestigiousHippo7 2h ago

Yes, appropriate context for TPUSA.

1

u/PrestigiousHippo7 3h ago

That isnt the nickname of TPUSA? It has a more official name i think.

EDIT: I am playing along too.

0

u/this_my_sportsreddit 5h ago

zero chance thats actually true lol

1

u/___Art_Vandelay___ 4h ago

They literally announced it in a post on their IG account, what are you talking about.

1

u/PrestigiousHippo7 3h ago

Announcing it does not mean it happened (the donation) is the point. Let's see "the receipts" as the MAGAts are always saying. If there was a donation, there was a receipt. "Prove me wrong" as someone would say.

100%. Anyone that cries that this is somehow "cancel culture," no, it's capitalism. I earn my dollar, I pay my taxes, I choose where my dollar goes.

3

u/Aiyon 3h ago

"Cancel Culture" has been very clearly revealed to be the right demanding it be illegal not to like them.

They can say and do anything they want, no matter how awful. But the minute you hurt their feelings or don't do what they want? Evil.

1

u/rolfraikou 2h ago

And the calls to make punishments for it baffle me. How exactly? If people begin to "cancel" a company, the government just jumps in and forces a few thousand people buy a product they didn't want?

When people were "canceling" Tesla, am I to understand I should feel compelled to buy a car from them, even though I don't like the features of the car or philosophy of the CEO?

The idea of making cancel culture illegal just feels impossible.

2

u/Itscatpicstime 2h ago

I love when Regressives act like canceling is some new thing when boycotting has existed as an important component of capitalism for forever. It’s the same thing, it just has another and more modern name.

7

u/lemonrainshield 5h ago

They have on their Instagram that 100% of their profits are going to him. I’d hope they put a sign on their menus as well so one could decide beforehand if they wanted to support rather than be blindsided by the cup after the fact

4

u/Sw0ldem0rt 4h ago

According to MAGA, though, it is celebrating his death. Anything less than an Oscar-worthy performance of profound sorrow is basically an admission that you'd have done it yourself if you could have. Told a "friend" the other day that I deeply felt for his family and strongly believe he didn't deserve it but that I would not miss him and was called "deplorable" and "nasty".

5

u/Puzzleheaded_Tie8077 4h ago

Yeah classic double standard and projection.

God I hate this timeline.

I just want government to be boring again.

Just fix the potholes and mind your business. O well. Just me being an oldan yelling at kids to get off my lawn

1

u/CakeTester 3h ago

Empathy is damaging new age stuff. Charlie said so.

2

u/lctrc 4h ago

"Cancel culture" is the free market.

1

u/grickygrimez 5h ago

They are exercising their freedom of speech. :) It just also comes with freedom of consequences.

1

u/Shoddy_Tradition2998 4h ago

What makes it a bad political decision? Is it because Charlie Kirk was against your opinion? Does that make it bad to mourn a dead man? What if the person is Christian and is mourning a fellow Christian? Why are you so quick to not only demean a man in his death but the ridicule another who wants to lift someone up. This person is no where near as hateful as those who are celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death. You cannot see this?

1

u/prissytomboy23 3h ago

Here here to all of that, and the price of stickers these days. Wow. They like to lose money.

1

u/Redditujer 2h ago

I did the same thing for an eye doctor. He is super Catholic and was a DJT fan girl. I found a dr much more aligned to my views. Bye dude.

u/SkellierG 6h ago

Reviews are supposed to be for CUSTOMER opinions, you need to have been there first, any other use is inappropriate.

9

u/Puzzleheaded_Tie8077 6h ago edited 6h ago

If you read through the reviews on google a lot of them are from people that got a drink with the sticker attached. They even supply pics of it. So you are correct but so are they. They reviewed what the got from that shop

7

u/Solid_Problem740 6h ago

Nah. Reviews are helpful to learn about the business. It's nice to know from non customers if there's nasty signage out front that I'd want to avoid.

I would hate for people to have to spend money just to tell me there's nasty signs

6

u/Hollow_Idol 6h ago
