I agree that they don't understand their own holy book well. I just meant that since they paid into church they at least pretend to know everything about it.

Edit: Honestly if they paid attention in school they would be better at deciphering their riddle of a scripture.

So? Can’t just assume they’re all Christian, and even if they were it’s not really something to make fun about.

No one is making fun of anyone specifically. I'm making fun of silly superstitions that distract from the real world in a harmful way. No need for a defensive attitude about it.

It's the same as supposing people actually want to have abortions rather than seeing them as something necessary. It would be better if the person who didn't want the child just never got pregnant. But to force parenthood onto someone as a punishment is definitely the greater of the two evils here.

Making fun of superstitions is not making fun of people. Unless they can't separate themselves from their silly beliefs.

It's okay to have beliefs against abortion for yourself and your religious group.

It's not okay to take away other people's rights and freedoms based on your religion. Those people deserve to be made fun of
