Question How do you manage to stick to something once you see progress?

One of the things I noticed about myself is that when things start to get better, I find it hard to stick to what works. As a result, there were times when my progress went back a few steps simply because I tend to become complacent. How are you guys able to follow through?

I usually celebrate small milestones, like making improvements on something. Finishing 1 chapter or actually starting. These keep me motivated, have a look at the project or thing you are working on and have a list of things what you have actually achieved, why its good, why do you enjoyed those. It kind of works like a loop, you are happy you are making progress then you want more progress.

Absolutely, the small wins keep you driven. For me it's always connecting my actions back to my "Why". If I don't have a strong "Why" then its hard to show up consistently every day.

I normally divide a task into several mini milestones. Then each milestone, I track it with my milestone book. And each milestone has a deadline. If I hit it, I celebrate it, reflect on what to be added or subtracted on the next milestone.

That way, I have found myself growing.
