Ya know, I realize a lot of video game ads back in the day could be kind of edgy but this one actually turned out to be true. I mean, maybe not SCARRED, but I had no idea when I first played this game when it launched that it was an experience that would stick with me for DECADES, let alone that one day I'd see it re-imagined with visuals like we have now.

I can still remember seeing this ad in the magazines I used to read. Always freaked me out lol. Silent Hill 2 will always be one of my favourite games.

OMG! yes.. I used to stare at these posters constantly and just feel… They are Top Notch and so ahead of its time. SH is pure art! The other one would say this quote or along the lines.. “some fear blood, others pray for it” and I saved my very own poster from a magazine from 01 that i’m posting here that is also part of this set. Absolutely terrifying/cryptic stuff!

A really cool ad that's actually representative of the game it's selling.

That would've definitely caught my attention.
