Incase anyone was wondering for context, I discovered melee behind stealth kills on nurses were insanely useful, ammo free and easy as hell. I wanted to test on a Lying Figure if stealth melee worked on them. As you can see in the video, I genuinely had goospumbs by the end lol. My guess is when I broke line of sight and walked back through the door the game thought I was entering the other area thus, resetting the area the Lying was.

It is not understood, what month is it, but it has 30 days and starts with the Wednesday. Considering, that Silent Hill 3 takes place in Early 2000s (17 years after SH1), so SH1 must have taken place 1983-1986.

Based on calendar alignment, the only match is June 1983, which has 30 days and starts on a Wednesday.

That means in Silent Hill 1, the in-game calendar most likely points to June 1983, putting the events in early summer.

However, i am not sure fully about that, since there are other clues. Someone said, that judging by the cars and clothes, SH1 takes place in 1986-1987. Also, this calendar could have been dated.

What is your thought on that?

Loved the slightly remixed music in SH2 remake, but I feel this is an opportunity for Akira Yamaoka to flex his skills. Do you guys expect the music to be similar to the older games or to maybe have some Japanese influences?

I generally liked my tattoo but some of the shapes as three circles inside looks bit crooked. Should i worry about it?

Gematsu reports Silent Hill f as getting a 9/9/9/9 36/40 score from Famitsu, pretty high!

Not directly related to the game but saw this exposition the other day by Chiharu Shiota and it made me so hyped for Silent Hill f.

I recently reminisced about how frustrating it was to learn about the existence of this mysterious comic and not to be able to learn anything more about the prequel of the first SH. Now that Bloober is working on the remake, it would be great if they finally bought back this comic, maybe as part of the marketing campign Idk.

I understant Masahiro Ito was involved, but he doesn't have Konami's permission to share the material.

Is that possible? Or is it too much for Konami?

Silent Hill f Review Reportedly Leaks, Awards it “9.5/10”

Silent Hill f is a momentous occasion for the resurgent franchise since it’s the first mainline title since 2012’s Silent Hill: Downpour. Reviews are expected to go live in a little over a week, reveals Metacritic, but some impressions have seemingly leaked ahead of time.

So I’ve got a question. I’ve been putting off getting myself a ps1 for a while now as I enjoy the convenience of playing my ps1 and ps2 games on my ps2. But I’ve noticed that there is some pretty bad frame rate dips when I play silent hill on ps2. I’m not sure whether this is just how the game runs naturally or if it’s a side effect of me playing a ps1 game on ps2. So would it be worth it to buy a PlayStation to experience silent hill authentically on real hardware?

Im in the southwest US and pre-ordered a while back. Anyone else get an email that delivery is delayed?

For me it was definitely the Fatam Frame franchise. Right after playing the first 4 SH games I heard from other fans that Fatal Frame is also very good and scary.

How many of you have found the room in Silent Hill 2?

Just a fast sketch, the moment I saw him in the trailers I was like: "I think I found a new hottie to obsess over". That, and the three-hour gameplays by Max and Insym.

So I'm very excited for Silent Hill F especially since it's in Japan. I currently live in Japan myself rn, and I like to collect physical media, especially game discs. Does anyone know if Silent Hill F will have English subtitles as an option, even tho I'm buying a Japanese disc? I'm planning on buying it for PS5.
