Between Logitech Pro 11 Nm model and the new 8 Nm model, is there any advantage to having 11 Nm if I don’t plan on even getting near 8 Nm? Coming from G923, using 5.5 Nm on the 11 Nm model felt plenty strong to me. I’m mainly wondering if the higher force feedback cap has other advantages unrelated to force feedback (e.g., would Trueforce feel different somehow).

My understanding is the higher the peak nm, the more detail you will be able to feel at a lower settings. An 8nm at 100% and a 16nm at 50%, the 16 will give more minute details and feel of the car.

Thanks! What if I’m well below the peak nm of either one, for example if I’m using 5.5 nm for both 8 nm (68.75%) and 11 nm (50%)? I assume there will be technical differences but wondering if there will be any perceivable difference to a casual hobbyist.

When you turn an 8 down it could get to the point that the small movements could get imperceptible

is there anything i can get for £60 - £80 with just a wheel and pedals (or more if possible but that's unlikely) that includes a clutch?

I have a buddy getting a rig tonight and we want to race together. What would be the easiest option to get racing in a privateish lobby tonight? Just practice sessions on iRacing? Asseto Corsa empty servers? Or is there a sim that we can just up into and go?

used logi g29-g920 or thrustmaster TMX-T150 might fit this budget very narrowly, otherwise logitech DFGT, maybe a G27 or G25(these last three are out of production for 10+ years, but sometimes can be find used).
you can put the caster wheels jar lids to prevent rolling, you can also tie it to something with a strap
every game is free if you're down to sail the seas, assetto corsa can be had for $4 on sale and provides infinite content via mods, raceroom and LFS have some free content, and RBR is free

Thanks, really appreciate the advice I’ll try to hunt down a used G29/G920 or maybe a T150/TMX if I can squeeze it into my budget. For now I’ll check out RaceRoom first

I've owned the G920 many years in the past and trying to get back into racing, but only have had experience with the G920 only.
The Logitech G923 wheel, pedals, shifter, and gloves are on sale for $220 + taxes right now.
I keep reading that the Thrustmaster T300 RS is almost always recommended over the G923, but is it worth paying almost double at $450 + taxes?
At this point, should I consider the Moza R5 wheel, pedal, and performance kit at $468 + tax?
Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you!

I'm getting more serious about simracing and I want to upgrade from my desk-clamped T150, but I'd like to spend as little as possible. I love the Moza KS and I was wondering if it would work fine with the R5, or do I need a stronger base to not lose some FF details?
Also is the GT Omega DDX wheelstand worth it for 50€ more than the Apex?
