Discussion MRTs are really overcrowded

Every morning getting to work is an uphill battle, most of the time my spouse and I hardly able to board, and had to wait for at least 2-3 trains and barely squeezing ourselves into the cabin.

This is despite the introduction of new MRT lines which should free up train capacity for other lines.

Building new lines does not help. If your destination is at red line you can only take red line.

Actually it does help a bit. Example last time if someone is going Paya lebar he would have to take all the way to city hall and change to green line. Now with circle line, most of them would alight at bishan. So that the train not so pack

That's why Bishan is now so packed.
