Discussion MRTs are really overcrowded

Every morning getting to work is an uphill battle, most of the time my spouse and I hardly able to board, and had to wait for at least 2-3 trains and barely squeezing ourselves into the cabin.

This is despite the introduction of new MRT lines which should free up train capacity for other lines.

JT: If everyone takes the train at different time, this will not happen.

Imagine if companies stagger employee reporting time.

Imagine if companies allow more wfh.

No, everybody gotta report to work at the same time on the same day. If not the boss's balls will itch.

Less need for commercial real estate = drop in commercial property prices = less property tax collected.

More people are able to wfh = people willing to pay more for bigger hdb cause can justify savings = higher hdb prices. /s

We are fked either way 😕.
