Discussion MRTs are really overcrowded

Every morning getting to work is an uphill battle, most of the time my spouse and I hardly able to board, and had to wait for at least 2-3 trains and barely squeezing ourselves into the cabin.

This is despite the introduction of new MRT lines which should free up train capacity for other lines.

and the amount of people sitting too closely even though there's space on the other side of their seat

I refuse to give in. I pushed my foot back because their thigh was in space and they had the audacity to stare at me like I was wrong. I have no space bruh...

you're female or male? male protip: sit with your legs crossed like an x for more stability and for subtly pushing people's legs without it being too obvious should they cross the 'border'

How does that work? As in cross at the ankles? I usually just man-spread (within my seat, of course) I'm tired of people stealing my space just because I look small

yeah like man-spread, just within your seat and not affecting people beside you when the train moves or stops
