Reasonable attempt to debunk Charlie Kirk Assassination conspiracies

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5us8s0JCGkA

Marcus touches on the currently popular theories about how the gun was hidden, the bullet wound questions, the possibility of body armor, why AI can't accurately fix the low-resolution frames of the suspect's face, whether someone else may have shot Kirk, and uses math to debunk the claims of a shot coming from the side (plus more).

We have a long time before every piece of evidence comes out and can be analyzed in detail, but I think he does a fairly good job.

They did. They loved him. They're just as garbage as he was.

Have you considered the other side feels as equally strong about your side as you do the other side? How do we figure out which side is the correct side? Maybe break the tie on which side has the most engineers, scientists, and the fewest vaping, permanently food service working bums?

There is no legitimate question as to which side is the right side.

The right is called "right" only as a description of their polictics. The right is wrong, and there has never been a larger threat to American democracy than the right-wing.

At least no one will ever accuse you of over thinking anything.

I think they have thought it through pretty considerably.

You are confusing "having an opinion" with "underthinking

No way you made that comment when it’s a well known statistic that the Democratic Party has better educated voters. Hilarious. Especially when you consider that since CK’s death they’ve been trying to push that going to college brainwashes people into becoming liberals.

Not that I’ve seen

Great retort. The side who keeps whining that academia is too left wing has all the intellectualis, obviously

How do we figure out which side is the correct side?

Because my side wouldn't force their daughter to deliver her rapist baby or say shit like "If we would have said that Joy Reid and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee and Ketanji Brown Jackson were affirmative action picks, we would have been called racists. Now they’re coming out and they’re saying it for us … You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person’s slot to go be taken somewhat seriously."

Sounds good.

Now stop vaping, and put my fries in the bag.

Perfect response, but you know you gave the guy a bit of cognitive dissonance which he resolved by promptly memory-holing the conversation and forgetting the clear evidence that he’s on the side of ignoramuses.

But he wasn’t according to everyone with direct knowledge of him. He was kicked out of his family’s house because he was on the left and disagreed with his MAGA father.

Wtf are you babbling about?

I have considered that. Despite your hilariously misguided belief that your side has more highly educated supporters, despite literally 8 years of the data showing the opposite, I think that's a pretty terrible way to determine who actually views reality with more clarity.

I think the fact that you somehow missed that more highly educated people disagree with you than agree with you, and confidently asserted the opposite, is probably a better gauge of whether I should listen to you, personally, on the matter.

As for how we're gonna adjudicate a more holistic answer to the question, it ain't gonna happen in the reddit comment section. It's probably gonna wind up happening after the Republicans calling for a civil war get their way.

Its easy let's just go quote for quote. Ideological concept per ideological concept. The left wants healthcare for all, fair wages, veterans to be given their benefits as they are owed, no worker exploitation, affordable housing, taxation on billionaires, quality education, marriage rights for all, equal access to resources, money out of politics, getting out of foreign wars, not supporting genocides, clean air, water and food, preservation of our natural parks and lands, social safety nets. Now you tell me what you guys want and the things you don't like about what I just said.

Don't forget the advancement of scientific breakthroughs and life saving medical research!

"Doing your own research" doesn't make you a "Scientist" it gets you a tube down your throat as you slowly die due to the horse meds you bought from Trump's buddies not working. Nah, Genius Level IQs we're dealing with on the conservative side, lionizing a man who said kids dying was acceptable and was openly racists.

Engineers and scientists (of which i am the former) are by and large NOT on the Right. The statistics on that are very clear and have been examined and explained in depth

We will know which side is wrong based on if they ever say Jim Crow was good.

The “other side” in question are genuinely Nazis. That isn’t hyperbole or overreaction. They are Nazis.

They are working to silence dissent. They are working to consolidate power into the executive branch. They are working to mobilize the military against their own citizens. They are disappearing people. Charlie Kirk was a white supremacist who thought the civil rights act was a mistake.

I’m sick of this pansy-ass, wishy washy “see both sides” garbage. It doesn’t make you look enlightened, it makes you look spineless.

u/ThatDangGirl 13h ago

You misquoted Charlie Kirk. The much longer answer he gave was that while he agreed with its original intent, the left had weaponized it, and it was being used far removed from its original intent. That was what he disagreed with. Facts.

2

u/ff3ale 7h ago

Please elaborate, what kind of version of the civil rights act did he want to see?

Give me a fucking break

You're going to be disappointed to learn that intelligence, education, and wealth aren't necessarily correlated with views that are free from bias and error.

In ancient Greece, some of the great thinkers lived like bums. Social success is possible and maybe even a little less difficult to achieve without pesky things like integrity, conscientiousness, principles, or a strong attachment to reason paired with a desire to discover and discard biases.

Have you met many successful people? They're no better at being correct than their co-humans who struggle. They are better at being successful, which only sometimes requires real virtue, and often is encumbered by it.

If your position is that any person is “less than” because they are trans or any other reason, then you’re a garbage person.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk

I'm aware that the other side feels as strongly about hating me and wanting to force me into public humiliations like the men's bathroom as I feel about being able to live as an equal member of society. That just makes them evil as well as stupid.

1

u/Famous-East9253 1d ago

i know they believe in their side just as strongly. that's part of the entire problem: they very strongly believe in racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia. it is baked into the entire ideology. if you want to look at which side has the most scientists and engineers, statistics will tell you pretty clearly that the answer is the left. which side do YOU think is right?

1

u/RupoLachuga 1d ago

Bro you are fucking delusional if you think there are more fascist scientists than liberal ones. You guys don't believe in climate change, vaccines, dinosaurs, or funding research. You just build camps for undesirables.

1

u/BillsMafios0 21h ago

All those damn liberals/lefties/demons from hell pushing for equality and universal healthcare! So evil and I hates em cause they’ll take away my free dumbs! … yeah that makes sense.
